Though its not for the squeamish, I recently became a placenta encapsulation specialist.I have been trained in the study of blood borne pathogens through Biologix course and trained as a placenta encapsulation specialist through Women Choice Perinatal. As my journey through birth work expands my love for reproductive justice grows. Methods

Generally, I prepare your placenta using the TCM method. This method involves gently steaming the placenta (5-10minutes) on low with fresh lemons and ginger before dehydrating (I personally also add peppers).

There is also a second method the RAW NON-STEAMED method, as some people believe that any kind of heat will destroy vital nutrients, and minerals in the things we consume. With the raw method your placenta is dehydrated at 160 degrees for a full 24hrs.

The overall process can take two days and then your placenta capsules will be hand delivered to you.
